Dr. Arifeen is a Professor of Business Administration at the Lahore School of Economics. She was awarded the Doctor of Philosophy in Management Learning and Leadership from the University of Lancaster, UK. She is a gold medalist from Punjab University, Department of Business Administration. She is also a Diploma Associate of The Institute of Bankers in Pakistan. She began her career with NDFC and later joined the teaching profession. She has extensive teaching experience and has taught for a number of years at the Pakistan Administrative Staff College, Civil Services Academy, DMG and Walton Campuses as visiting faculty. She also has managerial experience as CEO of a manufacturing firm and a logistics company in Pakistan. Her research interest is Women in Management. She has written cases for LUMS and has represented the Lahore School at academic conferences in the USA, Europe, UK and Australia.
