Fareed A. Fareedy

Professor Fareedy is Professor of Economics and Business at the Lahore School. He has a B.Sc. from University of Engineering, Lahore and an MBA in Marketing & Finance from Long Island University, New York. He also has an MA in Economics from New School University and ABD in Economics (All but dissertation) from New School University, New York.

He served (1970-1982) in middle and upper level management positions at TIAA - CREF, New York, K-Mart and Melville Corporations, New Jersey. He has taught (1983-1989) at the Department of Economics, Punjab University, Lahore. He has been teaching in the United States (1990-2003) at UCC, Kean University and Brookdale College, New Jersey and New York Institute of Technology and Yeshiva University, New York. In his last position in United States, he served as a Chairman of Department of Economics-Government-History at the Union County College, New Jersey.He has published numerous research articles in leading periodicals.
