Mr. Mirza is a Senior Fellow at the Department of Business Administration. He has been awarded an honorary Doctor of Philosophy by the Institute of Business Management, Karachi. Prior to this, he has done his M. Com and B. Com from the University of the Punjab. Before joining the Lahore School of Economics, Mr. Mirza was a Professor of Practice at the Lahore University of Management Sciences where he taught various courses like Corporate Governance, Business-Government Relations, Competition Law & Policy and many more. He has worked with the World Bank, USA as a Sector Manager, Financial and Private Sector Development for the East Asia and Pacific region. He has been the Chairman of various prestigious organizations such as the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan, the Monopoly Control Authority, Government of Pakistan and the Competition Commission of Pakistan.
