Maha Ijaz

Ms. Maha Ijaz is an Assistant Professor at the Lahore School of Economics, where she has taught a wide range of undergraduate courses in Finance and Economics, including Risk Management, Investment and Portfolio Management, Introduction to Capital Markets, Corporate Finance, Financial Management, and Financial Accounting. Her teaching emphasizes the integration of theoretical knowledge with practical applications, equipping students with analytical and decision-making skills.
She holds an MS in Business Administration and an MBA with majors in Finance and Banking from the Lahore School of Economics. Ms. Ijaz has also completed CFA Level 1 and 2 through the Chartered Financial Analysts Institute, USA.

 


Her research interests focus on finance, risk management, credit risk, and agency costs. Her notable publications and research work include:

  • MS Dissertation: Publication Trends and Methodological Advancements in the Area of Agency Cost, published in Sukkur IBA Journal of Business and Management
  • Research Paper: Research Methodologies and Publication Trends in Credit Risk in the Last 25 Years, presented at an international conference organized by IISES
