Faiza Murtaza
Ms. Faiza Murtaza Faiz is Assistant Professor at Lahore School of Economics. She has done her Graduation (2003) from Kinnaird College University Lahore. She has done her Masters in Business Administration (Finance and Banking, 2005), Master of Science in Business Administration (2010) and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (2016) from Lahore School of Economics.
Prior to joining LSE, Faiza has worked at PICIC, a Development finance Institution. Along with her team she was managing multimillion corporate leasing portfolio.
At Lahore School of Economics, Faiza has been teaching courses such as Corporate Finance, Banking, Financial Management I, Financial Management II, Financial Accounting I, and Financial Accounting II, to Bachelors, MBAs and MBA for professionals, since 2007.
Faiza has supervised final year thesis of numerous students for their bachelors and master’s degrees. She has attended a number of national conferences and workshops.
Her research interests encompass the fields of Financial Literacy, Mergers & Acquisitions, Capital Structure, Work Life Conflict, and Consumer Behavior.
She is proficient in using SPSS (quantitative analysis), AMOS, SmartPLS (advanced quantitative analysis) and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
