Sohnia Salman

Sohnia Salman serves as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration. She holds a Postgraduate Diploma and possesses over two decades of teaching experience in higher education. She is currently a PhD Candidate in Finance, actively engaged in her doctoral research alongside the development of two research papers on job crafting and its implications for employee engagement and performance.

Her research interests span the areas of financial decision-making, workplace behavior, and the intersection of finance and organizational psychology. Her scholarly work reflects a commitment to integrating theoretical rigor with practical relevance.

She has extensive teaching experience in Mathematics and Finance at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Currently, she teaches Advanced Research Methods to MPhil students, emphasizing the cultivation of analytical reasoning, methodological precision, and evidence-based inquiry. Her teaching philosophy is grounded in fostering critical thinking, academic curiosity, and the practical application of management and financial principles.

In addition to her teaching and research roles, she contributes to institutional development through her involvement in Course Review Reports and Program Evaluation Reports for the Higher Education Commission (HEC) via the Quality Enhancement Cell at LSE. She has published several research papers and continues to pursue projects that bridge pedagogy, finance, and organizational behavior.
