Nabiha Fatima Shahram

Dr. Nabiha Fatima, Assistant Professor at the Lahore School of Economics, is a sociologist, researcher, and academician whose work spans gender marginalization, child protection, impact of neoliberalism, and food security. She has led impactful collaborations and research with organizations such as Punjab Skills Development Fund, SAARC, UNICEF Rizq Foundation, and PAHCHAAN Foundation. 
Her research has been selected by prestigious platforms including the International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (ISPCAN), SAARC, and national social science forums, and published in various journals. In addition, she contributes as a social analyst for the BBC, Dawn, The News, and Daily Times.

  • Field data collection across Punjab, mix method research approach was applied 
  • A very thorough detailed research report submitted for publication to PSDF
  • Two research papers under publication as a result of this research project

 

UNICEF Project  2017                                                                                                                                                   

  • Qualitative research analyst for evaluating MCW (Mother and Child Week) across Pakistan, analysing data from all provinces and FATA.
  • Report published in 2017 covering the impact factor of UNICEF's mother and child health policy and recommendations for the next five-year policy plan.
     

USAID with Facebook Edventure partner 2017

  •  Research Content Head for an impact-based social change project, which was approved by the Washington headquarters.
  • Awarded Best Research Paper at the first National Education Conference, Pakistan.
