Ms. Sehrish Ijaz is a Teaching Fellow in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the Lahore School of Economics. Prior to her current role, she served as Visiting Faculty for over fifteen years, teaching a range of quantitative and computing courses, including Mathematics I, Mathematics II, Mathematics III, Computing I, Computing II, and Computing III (MIS).
She holds an MBA with a concentration in Finance and Banking from the Lahore School of Economics and a BCS (Hons.) in Computer Science from the University of Central Punjab.
Before entering academia, Ms. Ijaz worked in the corporate and IT sectors. She served as a Relationship Associate in the Corporate Division at Saudi Pak Commercial Bank (Silkbank) Ltd., and held software quality assurance positions at Ghost Software (Pvt.) Ltd. and Descon IT24 (Pvt.) Ltd., where she was involved in test case design, execution, issue reproduction, and bug tracking.
She is proficient in MS Office, Dreamweaver, Python, Stata, and Power BI.
