Anum Ellahi

Anum Ellahi is a Senior Teaching Fellow in the Economics Department at the Lahore School of Economics, where she has worked for over a decade. She holds an MPhil in Economics (2016) and a BSc in Economics & Finance (2012) from the Lahore School of Economics.

At the Lahore School, Anum teaches at the undergraduate and graduate levels and works with students through academic advising and departmental responsibilities. She also serves as a Student Counselor for the Economics Department, supporting students in academic planning, personal guidance, and career preparation. She has additionally worked with departmental committees and activities in her role as Secretary of the Lahore School Economics Society.

Anum’s research interests include development economics, taxation and governance, agricultural performance, sustainability, and entrepreneurship. Her work has been published in the Lahore Journal of Economics, The Pakistan Development Review, the Journal of Sustainable Finance & Investment, and the Pakistan Economic Management and Policy Series. She has presented her research at Lahore School conferences and has worked with research initiatives through CREB.
