Dr. Ejaz Ghani holds a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, USA. He has more than thirty-five years of experience in teaching, research, and academic administration. His work has been published in national and international journals, and he has prepared research reports for the Government of Pakistan. Dr. Ghani has served on several government committees and has conducted training programs for national and international participants at the Foreign Service Academy, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad.
He has also worked as a consultant on projects for organizations including the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank, UNESCAP, IFPRI, and CIDA. His academic interests include international economics, regional economic integration, industrial organization, food security, and development economics. Dr. Ghani has received the Best University Teacher Award from the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
