Samar Quddus

Samar Quddus is a Research Fellow at the Graduate Institute of Development Studies, Lahore School of Economics, and a member of the Centre on International Migration, Remittances and Diaspora (CIMRAD). She holds an MPhil in Development Studies from the Lahore School of Economics and a BSc (Hons.) in Management Sciences from the University of the Punjab. She has also been working with the World Bank as a Short-Term Consultant with the Poverty and Equity team, contributing to policy simulations and fiscal incidence analysis in Pakistan. Her research interests span migration, poverty, food insecurity, climate change, and public policy, with a primary focus on empirical analysis using household-level surveys. She also writes Op-Eds for The News International on a range of social and economic issues.
