Waqar Ahmed Wadho

Dr. Waqar Wadho is an Associate Professor of Economics and Director of Graduate Studies at the Lahore School of Economics. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at the Center for Research in Economics & Business (CREB). Dr. Wadho holds Ph.D and MS in Economics from the Aix-Marseille School of Economics (AMSE), Aix-Marseille University, France. His research interests lie in the broadly defined fields of growth and development. He employs theoretical models and empirical methods to study issues related to firms, households, and economies.

Dr. Wadho has a strong track record of securing competitive research grants from the prestigious organizations including the Private Enterprise Development in Low-Income Countries programme (PEDL), the European Union, the International Growth Centre (IGC), and the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF).
