Meera Shafqat

Ms. Meera Shafqat is a Teaching Fellow at the Lahore School of Economics, where she teaches undergraduate courses in Statistics, Mathematics, Computing for Business and Economics, and Financial Accounting, as well as Business Mathematics and Statistics for graduate programs. She holds an MPhil in Economics and a BSc (Honors) in Economics with a double major in Finance from the Lahore School of Economics. Her research focuses on the impact of child labour on schooling outcomes and determinants of female labour force participation in Pakistan. Ms. Shafqat has practical experience from internships in banking and corporate finance and is proficient in Stata, SPSS, Minitab, Maple, and Microsoft Office.
