Dr. Tariq Abdullah is a Professor of Environmental Sciences at the Lahore School of Economics. He was born in Lahore but was educated in UK from school through to university. He completed his B.Sc. Honors from London University (1968) and D.Phil from Oxford University in 1972. He has spent about 30 years at the Punjab University engaged in MPhil teaching and research in Theoretical Physics. He has been teaching MPhil courses on Climate Change and Sustainable Development and works in the Centre for Policy and Environment at the Lahore School.
